Campaign finance reform to the rescue!
"...Nothing would be more valuable than breaking the bond between politicians and big-money donors. We’re talking campaign finance reform, writ large.

First, non-partisan redistricting needs to be the norm. We need to be able to select our representatives, not be selected by our representatives.

Then, the Citizens United ruling must go away. It perverts the very concept of free speech and political discourse. Our representatives need to be beholden to us, not to corporations (who, by the way, are not people) and not to wealthy patrons who currently own our politics.

To get Congress working for voters again, we need to restrict campaign donations..."

"...The question for the Federal Election Commission is whether paying for childcare is a legitimate campaign expense, where necessary to run for office, or whether it is a “personal” expense that cannot be paid out of campaign funds.

STAY ALERT- if Trump acts today before 2pm our time, then we will meet at City Hall at 5pm. If he acts today after 2pm, we will meet at Dallas City Hall tomorrow at NOON. Check news and email and texts. Use this text to hear directly from us here in Dallas.

Let's hope he will not act but we need to be ready. This rally will be peaceful and constructive. We want signs that say things like: Respect the Rule of Law, USA is a nation of laws; Support the Balance of Power; Trump is not above the law; Listen to our Demands; Call your congressman NOW!

No violent signs or action are allowed as agreed by all who signed up around the country. If others go to the streets, that's OK. Ours is a scheduled coordinated effort to have the greatest effect - there are over 30 cities/towns in Texas participating.
